What are you knitting?

Hello, guys. It’s been a while. How’s it going? Pull up a seat, get out your knitting, I want to catch up.

I know it’s been a while. It’s been years since I missed posts for this long. Truth is, with everything going on in the world and in my own life, I dropped the ball. I dropped all of the balls, and some of them were yarn, and now it’s all a big tangled mess and I’m working on putting it all back in order.

So here I am, sneaking back to say I’m missing the blog dearly and want to get back into writing regular posts. It’s been a strange time, but I miss it here and I miss the lovely people who comment and share.

On that note, I’d love to know what you’re doing right now. What are you knitting? Or crocheting? Or baking? Or crafting from the skulls of your enemies?

Right now I’m knitting a pair of fingerless gloves that aren’t going so well. I also knitted a shawl that needs fixing and I don’t have the energy for it yet, but expect lots of pictures when I do. I also finished a quick cowl for a friend and hope to have photos of that once it’s finished blocking.

If you have photos or a link to a blog post, please share. I’m going to spend some time catching up on your blogs today too, I hope. I’ve been avoiding it all.

Anyway. Hello again. I missed you all!

  1. Hi, I totally understand how you feel. I myself am going through the same phase. Trying to get back to crocheting and blogging which I left after I migrated to blogger. Miss both a lot. Good luck with your efforts. Hope to see more posts and FOs soon. Take care. xoxox

    1. I’m sorry you’ve going through the same thing. It’s not all that fun, but I’m glad you’re trying to get back into the flow – that’s the first step, right? πŸ™‚

  2. Lovely to hear form you, you will never know how much you have been missed, can’t wait for a good old catch up …unfortunately my knitting mojo has done a runner so I’m sewing for the moment …I keep peaking out the door for knitting mojo but as yet she is quite elusive LOL

  3. Hey, Polo, good to see you online. I’ve just finished a baby sweater for hubby’s co-worker’s baby girl due in Feb., 2017, and am plying handspun merino & silk yarn to knit a reversible cable scarf for hubby. I just finished spinning 4 oz. polwarth/silk blend (indie dyed) and about 1.75 oz. of BFL (natural dye) in fingering weight to make a pair of socks for myself. Also spinning a small pile of hand-dyed merino, but haven’t decided what I’m going to use it for yet. Lots of projects in the works, but nothing on the needles right at the moment!

  4. Hey, glad you’re back πŸ™‚ you were definitely missed. I’m finishing my daughter’s Christmas jumper, and need to finish another one by next week. I’ve been knitting squares with my Guide unit, we are making blankets for a local homeless charity, we’ve got five blankets so far which is great but sewing them together has been a little stressful πŸ™‚ ten year olds knitting isn’t exactly uniform and we have some lovely colours.

  5. About to rip back a hat I’m not happy with, making another stripey hat, trying to finish a pair of socks and missing working on the 2 year and counting cardigan πŸ™‚

  6. Currently trying to finish a Sycamore Vest that I’ve been working on for quite some time! The yarn is quite heavy and hurts my arms if I work on it too long so I’m interchanging by knitting my first pair of socks. Looking forward to more of your posts!
